MISSION STATEMENT

To support, promote, protect and preserve Findley State Park, located in the state of Ohio, by holding special events, fundraising and making improvements to the park. To educate the general public on the importance of our natural resources.

WHO WE ARE

The Friends of Findley State Park, Inc. is a non-profit, 501-C3 organization formed in 2004 to help preserve and protect the park's educational and recreational offerings beyond what can be supported by tax dollars alone.

Friends of Findley State Park, Inc. is a group of volunteers working hand in hand with park staff to benefit Findley State Park by enhancing its beauty and preserving its natural resources while offering activities and projects to improve park guest's visits.

WHAT WE DO

One of the first projects the group worked on was landscaping around the park entrance signs.

Since then the Friends of Findley State Park have helped provide much needed support and equipment, such as a portable external defibrillator and security equipment for the rangers.

The group also assists the park staff at park activities, such as the almost legendary Halloween Camp-Out.

Our main goal at this time is to provide a year round shelter house with heat and electric. All donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit the entire community.
